Each of the following is designed as a single-period workshop that serves the dual purpose of promoting STEM and promoting understanding of diverse cultures around the World.
Each workshop gives a brief overview of the history of a cultural group and a STEM concept associated with that culture. For many of these groups, their history is deeply intertwined with European colonial expansion; content relating to this has been included explicitly to prompt discussion.
